As a pillar of faith in our community, Saint Mark's Global Methodist Church remains steadfast in its dedication to teaching The Word of The Lord to all who seek to grow in their understanding and relationship with God. Our mission is rooted in the belief that the teachings of Jesus Christ are transformative, and we strive to create a welcoming and inclusive space where individuals can encounter and embrace the wisdom and truth found within His Word.
At Saint Mark's, we understand that teaching The Word of The Lord goes beyond mere recitation or lecture; it is about fostering a deep and personal connection with the Scriptures. We believe that studying the Bible allows us to draw closer to God, providing valuable guidance for navigating the complexities of life.
To fulfill our commitment to teaching The Word, we offer a variety of opportunities for spiritual growth within our church community. Our Sunday School classes cater to all age groups, from infants to seniors, providing age-appropriate and engaging lessons that highlight the timeless principles found within The Word. These classes not only promote an understanding of the Bible but also encourage open dialogue, enabling participants to ask questions, share insights, and engage with fellow seekers of truth.
In addition to Sunday School, Saint Mark's Global Methodist Church hosts regular Bible study groups that allow individuals to delve deeper into specific books or themes within the Bible. These small group gatherings foster a sense of community and allow for a more intimate exploration of The Word, creating an environment where individuals can support and encourage one another on their spiritual journey.
At Saint Mark's Global Methodist Church, our dedication to teaching The Word of The Lord is not limited to our community alone. We recognize the importance of sharing God's message with the world, both near and far. Through mission trips, outreach programs, and community initiatives, we strive to exemplify the teachings of Jesus Christ by extending our love, compassion, and commitment to justice to all corners of society.
In conclusion, the teachings found within The Word of The Lord hold immeasurable value for our lives. Saint Mark's Global Methodist Church is proud to be a beacon of light, teaching, and sharing the transformative power of these teachings with our community and beyond. We invite all who seek a deeper understanding of God's Word to join us on this incredible spiritual journey. Together, we can grow in faith, love, and service as we seek to embody the teachings of Jesus Christ.
May the grace and peace of our Lord be with you all.

Saint Mark’s Global Methodist Church: Spreading The Word of The Lord
I was born in Ravenna, Ohio and went to Windham High. My father was a pentecostal preacher and also worked full time in a rubber factory and my mother played the piano at every Sunday service.
I was in the Army and then the Air Force from which I retired. While in the Army at Fort Riley Kansas, I met my wife Clara and we have 2 children, 6 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. I received my bachelors degree with my major in Occupational Education with a minor in Criminal Justice. God called me to be a pastor 22 years ago. The churches that I have been a pastor of are Petrolia United Methodist Church and now currently an ordained minister of St. Marks Global Methodist Church. My goal is to be first and foremost a teacher of God's Word, conveying it clearly and concisely and making personal application to the hearers.
2Timothy 4:2 Preach the word; be prepared in season and out of season; correct, rebuke and encourage - with great patience and careful instruction.
